Why does IMDB look different?

I just noticed this today, and I use IMDB on a daily basis. On both my home PC and my wife's, IMDB person and movie pages are completely different. No longer does it have the quick links on the left-hand side, nor a quick summary near the top of the page. It now has photos, video links, and "Best known for" at the top, and you have to scroll all the way to the bottom to get the quick links (memorable quotes, biography, etc.).

The odd thing is, on my work PC, it all looks the same.

All machines are running Vista with IE8. Has anyone else noticed this?

Call me crazy, but I'd guess they're rolling out a new design?
That I would believe, but why is it only picking on my home PCs and not work (nor my coworker's), all running IE8. That's what is strange.

Not my ISP nor firewall either, since my work PC is sitting here at home right now.

It's done on cookies. I had the new one and then cleared all cookies and got the old one.

I really don't like the new layout. If you have an account then if you change user preferences to "display full credits" it'll still use the old layout.

I get a mixture of both using the same PC but viewing different movies :p

Can't say I prefer one over the other, as long as it has the summary and a cast list then that's pretty much all I use it for.
