If you ran Steamcleaner it's usually all the instances of c++ that get put on when you install a game. I've been using it over 6 months and everytime it clears something away I don't have to reinstall games.

True that, do we actually need all those individual instances or is just having the most up to date version acceptable?

That must be a new policy Steam was always over eager to delete everything on a whim, want to uninstall the CK, sure I'll do that but I'll empty the entire folder of everything else as well, game, mods, ENB, the works. Nada, nothing. All gone.
