As above I have 2GB of OCZ PC6400 Ram and Ive only got 60% Left, Will Windows memory usage drop when gaming if not I have a feeling im going to need another couple of 1GB sticks soon.

It uses soo much memory becuase its using it correctly making it faster
once you go into games it will cut down the usage by at least 50%

It doesn't use much, honest guv. :\

Where's the 542MB of spare ram gone?

Have you also noticed that in Windows Task Manager - Performance, the graph is never flat lined the CPU is always being used between 1/4% or is this just my computer, even when all extra programmes are shut down?

Other than seeing that theres a lot of memory consumed on the stats page, What problems is it causing? it's still faster than XP in many ways, and the RAM gets dumped during gaming.

So where does the 708mb memory bit come in?
That's how much memory is in use that can't be "instantly" reused. For example most memory used by the system cache can be immediately recycled for use in some other application that needs it.
