Why doesn't Unlimited mean Unlimited anymore? :/

You read the terms, if they aren't clear, they are the ones you don't sign up with.

That would probably keep me offline, because every one I've seen has "this can mean anything we want it to" clauses.

My ISP is pretty clear about what they do and don't allow. But then I have a capped service and if I go over that would have to either pay for additional download or do without the net connection.
