Why don't new 174 driver features been given to 8800

They work on the G92 8800 GT and 8800 GTS 512mb, as thats what the 9 series are, G92 8800's.

Try the Vista drivers for older stuff
Direct3D 7 is still broken in the Vista drivers, has been since the original Vista RTM, and there's no sign that they're going to do anything about it any time soon.
