Having watched the movies the Blob (original 1958 or the one from 1988) should be enough to give people a warning sign. To be honest though, why mess with this at all as it seems to learn and perhaps so much more and I have never seen anything like this before other than in the movies, which is frightening enough for a lifetime.

In what way are they messing about with it? It's an existing lifeform, not something they've created in the lab.

Mind you, if they keep cutting it in half so it can heal in 2 minutes, I guess they might **** it off.
 
I'm sure the white coats will be poking and prodding endlessly trying to figure out the DNA sequence that allows its regenerative abilities.

Always fascinating reading, seeing and hearing about mysterious creatures like these.

Why not.... why fix someone with broken leg, why fly to the moon, lets all keep on living in caves and smashing things with our fists......
 
Anyone know it's real name so I can actually read something intelligent about it rather than the pansexual BS they are using on this.
