i had to install windows on a pc here and to get it to even see the stick i had to plug it in *while it posting* at the same time spamming f12 with my other hand to get the boot menu up or it wouldnt even see it

crazy crazy, i love u gigabyte but wow!

anyway i just felt like complaining about it :p

plug it in, enter BIOS, boot device, set USB drive as the main boot disc, save and exit from the bios, wait for computer to restart, starts and loads windows setup files off the USB drive, install windows, go back to in BIOS and reset the HDD or SSD as main boot drive, job done.......

but i needed spidey skills to do this
google 100's or others with the same problem

i should think its just older motherboards not sure, havent had to use a stick with sniper i have yet

Blame the sticks, not Gigabyte. Gigabyte are the best.

never had a problem with my el cheapo h61 board and USB.

my old p35-ds3l was a bit more fussy. it wouldn't boot from my sandisk USB stick but it would from my mp3 player. i had to wipe all my music off so i could use it to install windows. :p
