Why has my system decided not to boot?

Well 3 and a bit years after I got the system, turn it on today and the system decides not to boot.

The system will turn on, fans start spinning then turns off, to then try and boot up again.

Gigabyte DS3
6300 @2.8
4gb corsair
4850

Now tried with each stick of ram, taken the battery out and still no luck.

How or what can I do?!

Have you a spare PSU you can test with ?

Nah I dont think I do

Like I say it was working absolutly fine yesterday, shut it down fine.

Come to switch on today and it ust keeps switching itself on and off.

3yo PSU would be my 1st suspect.

hmmmm so after about an hour of it rebooting itself it has loaded up into windows.

Scared to reboot to get the overclock back on!!!

Any reason why it would have done this?

Overheating maybe, is it nice & clean ?

Yeah its all fine, running under water.
