Pokemon was really the best Gameboy game ever made...even people who hated Pokemon in general loved the game.
Imagine an MMPORG where you are in a lush 3d environment, running/cycling around forests, citys, towns etc running into random pokemon in the bush to fight and capture. Then you could see other trainers running around the forest (other REAL people, not npcs) and challenge them to battle...ask them to trade supplies etc etc.
You could even set up your own Gym when you earn enough money from winning competitions.
Example, lets say you wondering around miles away from the Gym YOU created (and designed)...a random person enters your gym and wants to win a gym badge from your gym to gain their credibility because you are so legendary in the game. You then get a message saying someone is at the gym, and wishes to challenge you...and are given the opportunity to automatically transport back in quicktime to fight... something like that.
They could make the game so you could pick your own skills etc... ie, you;'re better at training water pokemon than ground pokemon.
There would be more shops and things unlike the gameboy games, where you could buy yourself new clothes and faster bikes/accessories.
endless possibilities, why haven't they cashed in on this yet? everyone would have bought this when pokemon was a craze...it would still do well today though.
oh, and this is also great because there aren't really any PKers, personally i LOVE being a PKer, or having them around because it makes things interesting, but I know a lot of you are whinners and hate them...
They should also release this cross platform, to get the most users
