why ignore the budget cases

/\/\/\ Fair enough, I'm just one person giving his opinion. Bear in mind that I built a PC in that case for an 11 year old at the time so he had a PC for secondary school studies. Like most boys that age, they don't really look after their belongings & if it wont turn on the first time a button is pressed they will try a bit harder until it works or it breaks.

On the other end of the scale I built a PC for my dad for his email and office work as he does a bit of admin for his volunteer work. That was also a Coolermaster. IIRC the switches did last a while longer as he is more careful (Mind you he did break a youview box one time by hitting the top of it, thinking he would get it to work quicker but ended up breaking the read/write heads ) that was also swapped out for an Antec 300 which he still has to this day.

Exactly - You can't proclaim the hardiness, or lack, of a product if it's going to be subject to abuse beyond the tolerances for which it was designed.
I could argue that all Samsung phones are fragile crap, on the basis that I lose my patience and chuck them against the wall, whereupon they shatter... but used properly, it will last decades.
