But nobody has made the claim that's it's caused by human activity, so it's a completely irrelevant point. We know that global average temperatures have been slowly increasing because they have been measured and recorded; that is not a thing that's under dispute by any sensible person. But dismissing it because the last couple of weeks have been a bit nippy is completely ridiculous.

Just had to repair a burst pipe at 11:15pm tonight, workshop flooded. :mad:

The pipe feeds the outside toilet, it has a 25mm foam insulation pipe lagging, plus it's covered with 4" or so of fibre glass & boxed in & it still froze. :mad:

I bought an electric blanket the other week..... OMG its amazing when its cold. Stick it on a few hours before bed and when I get in I can't help but roll around in all the comfort and warmth

Gutted for you, had a similar experience in our garage last year, real pain in the backside. We've fortunately had it fairly mild this year, temp at the minute is just shy of 3 degrees so no burst pipes on the horizon.

Hope you get the mess sorted and nothing in your workshop is too badly damaged.
