Why is it that Apple is the only company to delete contacts en masse?

So she didn't backup her phone before going into the Genius bar like it recommends on the Apple website and now your moaning because she has lost data from the phone which could have been avoided by following Apple's initial advice............seriously??!

Pretty sure what i setup iCloud all my contacts went from the phone to cloud

I was alittle angry until i logged into the cloud and they all sycned back over to the phone

Maybe try that.

IPhone's technical operations is too cumbersome, if only to communications and other phones to send and receive information on it, does not need to select Apple products.

They always say BACKUP your phone and obviously she /you didn't do one before visiting.
