Why is the Deskstar 7K4000 so much on OCUK?

Its £300 on OC but I've seen it on other etailers for around 250 and lower. Are OC bumping up the price because everywhere else is out of stock so they can get away with it?

Business or greed? They would sell them anyway as nowhere else has stock yet so why bump price up?

Is the warrenty 2 or 3 years? Doesn't say on the OCUK page for the drive.

I will order at 275 but it doesn't mention warrenty so thats why I'm asking.

If I got one, is there an easy and free way of transfering my data from my 1tb drive and swapping drive letters so new one has the letter of my cureent 1tb drive so windows doesn't throw a strop loading games ect?

Apart from the extra 1tb, would there be a noticable difference between this and the Seagate 3tb 7200 ST drive?

I know the Seagate is a better deal, I was just wondering if there was a noticable performance difference.
