Since June, from what I can remember, when me and my brother play online on our PS3's at the same time, the connection bars shown in games like Call of Duty and Metal Gear Online seem to drop to one or two bars, and sometimes one of us will be disconnected. Today playing the Uncharted Beta we noticed the same thing and it even disconnected me the second my brother found his own game.
One of us can play on our own perfectly without any problems but as soon as the other one joins it becomes unplayable. We have tested this with three different games, I played on my own for 10 minutes without problems then asked him to join and within seconds I was already experiencing lag. We both have PS3's connected to a wireless router, the router is in my room and his room is just next to mine.
As I said, this has only started happening around the last 3 or 4 months. Is it possible a corrupted file on the PS3 maybe having an effect, or is Virgin Medias 10MB just not cutting it anymore? What else could it be?
