Why is UT3 unpopular?

1) The console UI is annoying to navigate through, and impossible to navigate through once I've had a couple of drinks.

2) I lost 2 hours of stats a few weeks ago due to the stats servers going down. Not sure how often they go down because I don't play it enough.

3) Most servers seem empty, especially on DM/TDM.

4) For some reason, running/jumping around seems very slow and sluggish, and less accurate than it used to be.

5) SP mode was far too short.

6) Nalicity (the best site for custom UT maps) went down and lost all UT3 data, along with a lot of 99 and 2k4 maps. It's been months and they still haven't pulled their fingers out of their bums.

7) Hardly any decent custom player/bot models and skins out there at the moment, it seems the customisation community died along with UT3.

Fortunately they had all their files mirrored on Filefront. :)

only played the demo and it seemed to be lacking in colours...felt like i was colour blind playing it so it was a NO from me.

ut3 is just good but has nothing special about it - don't seem to be that many players when i checked, lack of maps, maps good but not spectacular, game play good but too similar to UT2004 (much of the same)

Consolised up the wazoo, and really..how many times do we need essentially the same game with better graphics released? Pc multiplayer gaming has moved on from the standard boingy boingy deathmatch styled games. I think people are now just starting to realise that putting out more or less the same game does eventually get tiresome.

Id and epic..please wake up this isn't 1999. Quake 3 and ut99 were the pinnacle of those kind of games...well done now please move on ffs.
