Why isn't Glasgow rioting?

Probably because they've got better things to be doing than acting like retards.

I don't care how unethical it is, I would be in support of a mass cull of these types of people. No society needs people like this.

Chavs/neds in Glasgow know that wherever or whatever they hit with their rioting and looting, there will always be someone bigger and tougher, fully prepared to kick the **** out of them.

I'm not even sure how this one is going to end up...

It's interesting that we had 50,000 football fans watching a game in the East End (typically a very rough area) tonight, raising cash for charity and there wasn't an issue with law and order.

I'd say that there is still quite a lot of respect to be found in Glasgow. I see it in my job, I often go to rough areas and could easily be a target. However I often get neds being very polite and helpful. I rarely feel threatened. Also on the bus, you'll likely get someone who looks like a scumbag strike up a conversation with you in a friendly way with no ulterior motives. Yes, there's a problem with violence and what not but it's quite contained with gangs. Go to a pub by yourself, and you'll be welcomed and treated with respect and courtesy by the locals.

He's just a troll, this'll be closed soon enough.

Not necessarily. Why do you jump to that conclusion? (Maybe I'm missing something.)

Given that poverty and boredom are two reasons cited for the uprising of certain groups this week, I think the OP presents a valid question (albeit brief and perhaps unworthy of a separate thread).

Cause we're not mongos that destroy our own city?

And a hun that posted this on facebook...

3 nights of riots and London is still standing.

We destroyed Manchester in 2 hours.

WE ARE THE PEOPLE

Edit: Glasgow doesn't have a large amount of blacks either really. Sitehill has a higher population and the likes of pollockshields has a lot of asian but it's mainly rich ones at that!

A question he is not willing to answer?

Please...

As an aside, since the other thread is growing far too quickly, these quotes were presented on my G+ stream earlier as vindication and justification for the rioting:

"Other cities in the UK need start a riot & proof to that ****ing idiot Cameron were not scared of him n we run this country"

"When you've got bankers taking their bonuses and MP's taking money off people like me for their moats, and their chateaus and their castles, this is the result."

The mind boggles at such tiny intellect.

It's just stupidity and quite offensive that they try and use that to justify things. If we're discussing Glasgow then I believe we unfortunately have the highest unemployment rate in the UK and in some areas the worst mortality rate in the developed World.
No rioting going on here.
