All,
I have been reading through many of the SSD optimisation guides and I note that they all say that an SSD should not be allowed to powerdown when using a powersaver option winthin Windows 7. However I cannot find any info as to WHY this should not be used? Does anyone know?
I followed this guide:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-guide-optimization-for-ssds-hdds
Also separately why are they also recommending to never shut off the monitor? Surely thats unrelated to the SSD?
Regards Neil.
