Yes I've turned GSM off, and now the phone doesn't muck itself up swapping between the signals in a weak signal area.
I'd consider it a solution to a problem. I couldn't access internet at all, I use only WCDMA and now I get internet, is that not a solution? :confused:
Maybe not the Utopia that you imagine, but a solution is a solution.

We don't all live in a strong signal area like you...
