I don't get why these are so expensive! I would've said that £40 would be a fair price, but everywhere sells them at this craaazy prize. I'll have to wait for christmas at this rate!

Additionally, does anyone know whether Corsair makes individual leads from this set, as I only need:

2 x 8 pin pci-e
1 x molex
2 x sata power

seems mad to pay 65 quid for that!

Have you thought about using braided extensions instead?

Will be able to get individual cables if you need and they're a lot cheaper.

I have, but I'm aware that the amount of cabling behind the mobo is going to get to the point where I can no longer control it, hence not being able to shut my 650d

I've seen these molex to sata 'adapters' that bitfenix offer but ive been a little sceptical. does this mean that I can just run a molex out of my psu and all 4 of my sata power needs can run off of one molex?

Also, how do you do the 'Your Basket' things that shows people how much things will be? Thanks! :D

There's essentially no demand for them. Reasonable profit per set, but overall the range of leads is probably selling at a loss. They may only sell a few dozen.

that sucks, just have to go with bitfenix then! could you tell me whether with the molex to sata adapter I just plug it into an existing molex and i instantly get 4 sataleads?

I have used the Bitfenix alchemy cables in my 650d. Yes it requires some creative cable management to get sorted, but cheaper than the listed Corsair alternative.

The range is also broader, as it includes I/O, USB, SATA etc. cables.

Also consider the time it takes to do the braiding yourself and you will see that the price isn't too unrealistic, if you haven't got the skill/patience (I know I haven't!).

yeah I can see what you mean. Might have to go for some extensions then ^_^

Wait till I get home, sure i've got a spare pack of Corsair modular cables from my HX620.

You can have them for the cost of postage.

Regards

I would've been purchasing red one's so I won't bother unless thats the case! Plus I think that the cables have slightly different connections. Thank you very much though!
