Lots of suggestions here, cheers, and interesting about the web browsers too like Edge and Chrome. Just jump onto Gmail or Google Drive and they can open PDFs without a reader. Firefox can as well, which is around 300MB on my computer, so still less than the 435MB Adobe Reader.
Firefox 300MB? Nope Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 435MB? Nope.
Obviously something not quite right about your files so seriously you will need to take a look inside your Firefox and Adobe folders why it took too much space and delete the junks waste.
I checked Firefox Nightly I installed on desktop for nearly 6 months and updated daily used only just 152.7MB!
Installed Firefox on VMWare found it only used just 131.2MB.
