You have a mountain lion as a pet? Your profile says you live in Newcastle? Surely this is illegal in the UK, to keep an animal that can kill people such as a mountain lion...also I thought mountain lions live in america somewhere, so how did you get it here, or are you just making all this up?

Well they kill them for fun, the same reason you eat hamburgers at McDonalds. Nobody in the UK needs to eat meat to survive it just gets turned in to a turd in the toilet. Total waste of an animal. It's simply fun to eat them just like it's fun for that guy to kill them. How many hamburgers or KFC have you eaten this month? It's ok to kill cows and chickens but not beautiful animals? What sort of hypocrisy is this?

Not quite the same, those cows are bred for food so wouldnt be alive in the first place if nobody ate meat, that Cat was killed for the lol's and wont be eaten and if im not mistaken there arent that many of them roaming around these days because smacktards like him in the picture keep shooting them because he is a closet gay who wants everybody to think he is hetro :D

This is so true, they're already on the verge of extinction and pretty soon we'll have no big cats left to enjoy in nature because stupid people shoot them for fun...it's so wrong, these beautiful creatures should be left alone. Same goes for all the big animals, lions/tigers/bears/whales/dolphins/elephants etc etc nobody has the right to kill them.

Yes. Just the same as a child in Africa dies from something with a cheap, known, widely available drug. You know why? because the world isn't fair. Never has been, never will be.

So by your logic if someone farm raised a bunch of mountain lions for the purpose of hunting them later it would be OK?

There are places in Africa where the only thing keeping big cats existing is "canned hunt" farms where they raise them. Louis Theroux did a show on actually.

I don't see how it's any different from raising a cow so a some fat person can eat cheeseburgers.
 
Oh and it wasn't foreigners who made them extinct there it was the locals poaching bush meat. Ironically it's fat white German and American hunters who are stopping them from going extinct.

I remember seeing a program about black bears in North America where the presenter sat with them and "got to know them". The program was also about hunting and the mentality of the hunters, why they do it and so on. Interestingly all the hunters he spoke to genuinely believed that the bears would kill them all if they didn't kill them first, they literally thought they were evil.

After the presenter took them into the forest unarmed and he showed them himself sitting with the bear they couldn't believe it lol, it was incredible how ignorant to it all they were. That is it really, just a simple lack of education on the subject. Same probably applies to mountain lions. The hunters, through the generations have convinced themselves that they are sort of "at war" with these creatures.
