Why wont Grid load up anymore?

I put the disc in and it comes uo with the autoplay menu, i click play and then nothing! the program is running as its in the procceses list, but it doesnt load up?

just going through that now,

erm the drivers for the xbox 360 controller and steam

Have you tried starting it with the direct shortcut instead of the autoplay option? (long shot but worth a try)

yep tried it all! uninstalled eveything installed over past few days including game, re-installed grid and still same problem!

Are you running x64 windows and 4GB mem?

ah ok. just that mine never runs with that setup, any of the patches, with out patching the main exe with a 4GB mem fix thingy.

i had this prob on vista 32bit with the demo a pc restart fixed it for me kinda got fed up with restarting pc every time i wanted to play it tho

bought it on steam and didnt get the prob again

Strange, does Grid contact a server each time you start it?

I had a problem like this, when i started all i got was a black screen. I found out the problem was a driver file for the Asus soundmax on board soundcard, you have to delete this file and the game kicks in straght away. I cant seem to find where i read what file to delete atm sorry.

Tis ok, i got it sorted. Thanks for the help peeps! just added new patch and enabled autorun from the registry! tis all good lol
