Hi,

Despite reading numerous threads about overclocking my PC I’m no closer to being able to get a stable overclock.

I can boot into windows fine, when I come to turning my pc on in the morning it will go into a reboot cycle and then turn on with the overclock disabled.

What am I doing wrong?

Here’s my specs:

Q6600 Go
Giga byte P35 DS4 (F11)
OCZ 2 x 1 gig 8500 reaper
Raid 0
Hyper Type R 580W
7800GT
XFI Elite Pro
Vista Ultimate

And my Bios setting:

Hi,

I can't tell what's wrong with your overclock for certain, but a couple of things that might help:

+ Manually force your PCI-E frequency to 100MHz
+ Force 5-5-5-18 Timings
+ You might want to reduce your RAM voltage to "+0.30" as it's quite high
+ Maybe try increasing your FSB voltage a little further, if the other points don't help?

Hope this helps,

Banjo

I would drop both the FSB and the (G)MCH voltages back to 0. That board shouldn't need any extra chipset voltage to do 333mhz.

Forgot to mention that sometimes even with the overclock disabled it will go into a reboot cycle. do i have a faulty mobo?
