When I set it to use 2cores it automatically enables "vt-x amd-v" but when I start winxp from virtual Box, It says its disabled and wont run at all. So basically virtual box is only letting me use 1core?

I cant belive this worked...

for some reason the virtualization technology option dont enable on my board, but someone worked out this mad process to get it enabled

Reboot the Host and go into the BIOS
disable vt-x, save BIOS settings, pause machine after bios boot messages
power down the Host (unplug power cord!)
start the Host and go into the BIOS
enable vt-x, save BIOS settings, pause machine after bios boot messages
power down the Host (unplug power cord!)
Boot the Host.

crazy but it worked:eek:

Since putting the computer into sleep the damn the virtualization has stopped working. Ah well not to wrorry. Im got going todo that crazy way to get it going again, as it prob doesn't do the computer any good at all killing the power like that.
