wi-fi card keeps turning pc on

hi i recently built a pc using a gigabyte ds3 motherboard and all was well, i then installed a wireless card. However when i plugged the card in it made the pc boot!, when i goto shutdown my pc windows exits and the computer restarts. As soon as i romove the card the computer shuts down and stays off. Any ideas folks?

Hi Mate

Go into control panel, Device manager , then on the wireless card (what ever its called) right click.. Go to advanced. Then you should see some power saving options .. maybe change some of them and it should fix your problem.
