I have had this working a few months back but now it doesn't seem to do it :/

I'm using the bioshockfov hack v1.1
I load the hack up first, set it to 0.833 and then load bioshock up from steam.

The fov does not change at all now, i have tried enabling it * and disabling / nothing seems to happen for me.

I could be forgetting to do something though...

Any help is appreciated.
 
I have you checked out that widescreengamingforum ? I think thats where the hack came from.
 
found v1.2 of the hack, works wonders.

I read that the patch is almost here for the fix, 3 months later...
 
actually found it on my pc, ill upload it to my webspace...

AndyOcUK: Im running at 1680x1050, the game does not give you the correct FOV for that rez.
You need to run the above hack so the field of view is the way it should be, otherwise the game feels as though its zoomed in too close.

both sliders set to 0.834 and use the / & * keys to turn off and on, you will see the difference then :)

Lol, just in time for no one to give a damn anymore. Can't believe how long it's took them to get the first patch out the door. I think they must have one 19-yr old trainee writing the patch.

Am still on the first level :eek:...(and I bought the game on release day )

I just got past the bit where the demo ended...

I paid for it weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived from Asia yet. Will be playing it on widescreen, glad I waited.

At least I had orange box, timeshift and crysis to amuse me in between. Best year for games ever.
