Widescreen choice

I'm looking to upgrade from a Viewsonic VP17something or other to a widescreen, size 20inch or bigger, budget about £350 was looking at the Viewsonic 22inch but price has crept up, what are the alternatives ? The Dell is a nice price, but specs are not so hot. Primary use is gaming, surfing and then film and the watching of.
Recommendations ?

I have 2 of the Dell 20" WS's and they are fab for gaming and movies are excellent.

mine came this morning... quickly unpacked and set up before work and wow is this thing gorgeous... i'm so glad i went for this than the 23" apple that i wanted :)
 
I think you should pay the difference for me so then I can get the 2407. You all have a misses and I don't so I think you should give me some money :D

Had to tell her as she would have said "oh thats a big monitor" anyhoo told her i got it cheap :D the lies ive told her about OcUk :)

yeah got mine for £539 inc VAT and shipping except with just a 3 year warranty from elsewhere :)

couldn't justify spending £100+ more for a 4th year warranty :o
