I have a few troubles with my PC setup. Hope someone will have the answer.
The over day i ws running my PC at 2.9Ghz and thought it was 100% stable, I ran Prime etc for about 10 or so hours. Ok so therefore i wanted to play maxpayne and after about 2mins the PC crashed. So i thought its not stable. the bios setings were:
HTT x3
speed: 290
clock: 2.90Ghz
Mem: 207mhz (divider)
Vcore: 1.55 with 10% over resulting in 1.58... board is crapy for undervolting.
Today for some strange reason, Think i was getting frusrated that my board wasnt letting the Vcore go any higher. So Ive tried to put the HTT up to 292Mhz. Also I put the voltage down to 1.55Vcore and only 8.3% over giving the total in the pics below. HOW VERY STRANGE!
- it worked and ive ran Prime 95 till i just got home from work. 19hours or so. This was using a custom test on using 400mb ram as ive got 2 cores. heres a pic:
Heres another one showing the time:
Now does this mean its stable and my board which is a NF3 Neo2-Plat doesnt like 290 and is ok with 292Mhz
I guess i have to check to see if a game crashes. If it does then is it my Chip or could it be the board doesnt like to be clocked so high.
Any help would be fully appriciated!!
