First of all my specs are as follows:

A64 3200+ s939 @ 2.4Ghz
1Gb Ram
X800XL stock
Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe

anyway this morning i ran 3dmark05 with my omega drivers that i have been using since november and my first run in 3dmark05 got me a score of 5113.

afterwards i thought i might use ati's drivers instead to see if that would make a difference and i got a result of 4049 afterwards

are omega drivers that good or is there something im missing?

graphics drivers resetting cpu overclock? doubtfull

i've got almost the same setup, i'll try 3Dmark and see

d/w guys it was just me being stupid i installed the ati drivers on top of the omega drivers so that kinda messed everything up..everything back to normal overclocked my gpu my a couple mhz from 398mhz to 406 and my ram from 500mhz to 510mhz and ended up with 5200ish marks..was wondering if this is normal considering the spec of my pc?

well ....maybe.

I dont know how different the xl is to the xt
last time I put my X800XT @PE through 3dmark05, it got around 6300, and that was driven my an AthlonXP 2500+ @3200. Close to 6600 points on X2 @4600

Yeh sounds about right to me. I had an X800XT-PE and it scored about 6500 at stock, eventually cracked the 7000 barrier though
