Wierd Mouse / Keyboard problem!! Help!

When i use the mouse and keyboard in XP it is fine (Word etc) but when i go to use it on the internet (Search engines / forums etc) it doesnt work!! Can't type at all. Nothing.

As i said, works fine outside of Internet.

What could be causing that? Virus etc?

(I am using a laptop to type this!)

A few things to try:
System restore to a time when it worked
If using explorer try firefox or opera
Remove adobe flash player
Check your firewall settings, have you blocked explorer?

does the problem happen in all browsers?
If not, reinstall the browser.

Does it happen on ALL webpages or only certain ones?
Does it happen not only on webpages, but on the address link too?

What anti virus and spyware software have you got installed?
