I bought a titan goliath pc from here around a month ago, worked fine, built good then yesterday i shutdown for a bit to watch tv downstairs came back to use it and it turned on but said "scanning hardrive for image...." then 2nd line was "scanning bios auto recovery..." or something along these lines.

It would then flash once and redo the above again over and over.Turned it on today but now what's wierd is that it turns on for 5 seconds or so then off again and back on.

I recently connected a HP LP2475w to it around 5 days or so ago but doubt that's causing any of it.

Not had any issue like this before hope someone can help thanks.

It turns on for 5 seconds then off again and keeps doing so no...i am not familiar with the socket 1366 boards so would a cmos reset help?how i do too on it?

Hoopefully a CMOS reset should work, open the side of the case and you should see a jumper in front off the SATA ports labled CLR_CMOS, remove the jumper accross the pins or short using a metal object.

Assuming they have used the Gigabyte UD3R.

I reseted cmos yet didn't change anything, reseted via the battery too yet it's still turning on for 5-10 seconds then off.....doesn't even get to a bios screen and i also tried i with no monitor connected to see if it would stay on.

So it's still doing the turning on and off thing every 5-10s think i'll call them tomorrow to send back as it seems to be a faulty board/psu i guess?
