Wierd Problem...

Right, I've been putting off getting this fixed for ages because its merely just a nuisance rather than a pain, but I thought I might as well ask on here before I go and reinstall my computer.

Last 2-3months my computer no matter how much I delete files always fills the hard drive back up again to leave around 6gb free, and problem is I cannot for the life of me find out where these files are.

It's like a multiplying file virus type thing but if I for example highlight everything on C: drive it says I've used 30gb, whereas if I look in 'my computer' it says I've used 150gb, anyone got any ideas?

OS: Vista 32bit Business edition

System Restore points, pagefile, hibernation file and system files probably accounts for it.

Use something like jdiskreport to find what’s using all the space.

Problem fixed, it was lenovo backup files, didn't even know it was backing up every wednesday, default settings have notifications off and denies permission, so I couldn't see it on my C:, finally solved it
