really wierd problems are starting to pop the ugly head up, my system has ran rock solid for about a month now from new but starting yesterday it has had problems posting with the overclock which i might add is quite moderate for the chip.
now today i went back to my computer and vista had put it into a dormant state (not sure of the proper name) so i hit a key on the keybored to start it back up again but the screen went blank and my gts fan spins up full blast as if the 4 pin mobo connector wasnt connected, so i had to turn the pc off then back on and it didnt make a differance just full speed fan and black screen.
so i unpluged the power cable from the psu and left it for a minute, pluged it back in and it booted streight away. i lowerd my oc from 265fsb multi x8 to 250fsb with the same multi which is what i had before then and rebooted, now the bios has that setting saved and loaded yet cpuz shows the cpu to still be running at 265 @ 2.12ghz????
i have cleared the bios and loaded in a new speed but now for some reason the first speed i load in is the one that sticks any speed i try to put in after than will save in the bios and thats what i see but cpuz shows the cpu running at the origanel speed i put in first.
any one with any idea's please as im really not sure whats going on.
