Wife kicked in the front of my LianLi last Sat night (I need a new case)

Hi All

Has anyone got any pictures of the Thermaltake Armour Jr or Armour?

I’m looking at a new case after the Wife kicked in the front of my LianLi last Sat night :mad:

One thing I can recommend is the WD Raptor drive I have in it. When I booted the PC back up the next day I was amazed the HD had survived the kicking. She booted it so had the case was wedged up against the wall and all power/reset buttons are smashed to bits as well, everything else is still working thank god!!

Anyway I am thinking about getting a Thermaltake case to now replace my LianLi so if you have any pics I would really appreciate it.

get a case that is built stronger, like this

get one with a front door next time...... then she wont damage anything.

My PC-A10B is pretty sturdy! nice thick Alu on the door as well, in case my girlfriend ever gets the same idea (she seems to think i like my PC more than her...... i wonder how she got that into her head?)

i'd MAKE her pay for the most expensive case you can find.
This one might be a suitable replacement at £246.74

It’s the same old quote mate, and when they is alcohol involved the half brain they have goes to mush!!

The panel dose go back on but its all bent inwards so dose not sit flat, and yes they are very strong case's I have a silver one as well I got about 5 years ago.

As for the new case, I just fancied a change and liked the look of the Thermaltake!

Don't mind the front of that, but I think the side window is horrid

Get one of those totally fanless cases, she'll be annoyed at herself if she kicks one of them

I like that one, though I would change the red led fans, I like the little things like 'Main intake vent - do not obstruct the vent! Leave a miniumum of 10cm clearance'.

That TT will cave in completely, but she may cut her toes/shoes on the fan if she does it again.

My brother as the TT Armour, and it really is fairly flimsy fronted (the mesh I mean).

I have the armour jr, and aslong as your careful with it - it will be great. I have a few pictures in this post here:

Without cable tidying though, i have done so now and it is pretty tidy although i could tidy more. Very nice case overall and temps are very good. This forum isnt the best place to ask about cases though because basically everyone on ocuk is biased for eclipses and lian li
