Im after some advice on some real discreet WiFi N access points for a 4 story building.

The purpose is to allow all the tennants to access the WiFi Network. The building all all stud work partition walls.

To start off the landlord is in the process of renovation to a high standard and wants the access point to be as discreet as possible.

Im abit confused as to the best way to advise him, as i have no real knowledge of ho the WiFi works. (ap's/WDS/Repeaters)

In my own house Ive just a switch with 2 wireless n routers 1 up, 1 down on the same SSID but different channels.

Advice would be appreciated.

Best advice is too employ a supplier that’s used to dealing with communal wireless networks.

Distributing the wireless signal isn’t that difficult.

Keeping track of the usage so that you know who to blame if/when the wireless is used for something questionable is a different matter.

The wireless suppliers do tend to overstate the potential problems, but the problems are there to some extent. At the end of the day the owner of the connection may need to carry the can.
