Hi all,
Wondering if anyone can help, recently purchased a new pce-ac55bt WiFi ac/bluetooth card to replace a TP link USB wireless N dongle.
I can't get it to work! The WiFi element is recognised in device manager, and it says the device is working properly..
There's a yellow unknown device which is presumably the bluetooth part of the card..
In control panel though (win 10) it can't see any network to connect to. I've rebooted and checked for Windows updates to no avail.
If I plug my old USB WiFi dongle in it connects to the router and just works..
Any ideas? I'm guessing a driver issue but it's showing as working in device manager?
Ive read online that some users it just works fine allowing Windows to use the drivers it wants..
Ive also read that the drivers on the CD don't work and you have to download them from Intel.. ( it's an ASUS card but Intel hardware onboard )
I don't have a dvd drive installed though so I've not used the driver disk.
Help! I bought it for better WiFi and to use the Bluetooth for an xbox pad but currently it's a fail on both counts!
I don't have ethernet so have do do any driver updates via the old WiFi USB dongle.
Router is a virgin duel band standard jobbie..
Any ideas . Thanks
