WiFi Extender with Ethernet Input

    I'm in a weird spot atm and am looking for a WiFi extender that instead of connecting to the network via wifi, will take an ethernet cable in and transmit a WiFi network?

    As above, if you mean the connection going to the router is cabled, then you want an access point. Unifi is a very popular choice.

    It's not a weird situation, it's the prefered situation you always want to be a position to have a AP over a shity wifi entender.

    The Asus EA-AC87 does both, it has a 5-port gigabit switch too.

    edit: it's only 5ghz though.
