Because where i live is sometimes extremely cloudy/snowy for weeks on end and sunrise/sunset isn't particularly too relevant so id like to have it predominately scheduled by actually ambient light levels.
i got it working with Hue essentials app. Just need to dial in the high low numbers. over a couple of days.
im testing the up/down times now which is absolutely fine for summer here.
Understood, my follow up was going to be suggesting Hue Essentials / Hue Dynamic. I use the latter for extending Hue functionality.
I do have Home Assistant running too but prefer to keep core lighting control as part of Hue as it remains more wife approved
