We just got a wireless modem and now every time i use the cordless phone its fuzzy.
The only way i can stop this is if i pull the modem out of the powerpoint, but that stops other people from using the internet.

Is there anything i need or can get to stop this?

Moving the wireless modem as far away from the phone basestation as possible is the only thing I can think of (apart from buying a corded phone).

Access point :) AKA (In this case) the Wireless Router!

Ah k.

I dont think i can put it anywhere else.

The cable is streched as far as it can reach away from the phone base thing due to the location of the computer and the phone sockets.

Damm WIFI people not taking this into acount when making these things :(

I cant talk on my cordless phone if im stood anywhere near the microwave when its on.

Digital or Analog cordless phone?

Analog are pants, never had a problem with a DECT phone and any surrounding electrical equipment, and my router is less than 3 inches from my DECT base station.

There are only certain frequencies that can be used by consumer devices legally, so it's not their fault.

When I had this problem I changed the channel my wifi was on and it fixed it a treat once I found one that affected neither my phone or video sender!

At the risk of appearing to be a complete idiot, I was very concerned about what this thread was going to be about.

Then I realised that I had misread wifi as "wife".
