Because when you switched wifi off they loaded on data. I assume a neighbour isn't hacking your wifi, long shot but maybe, switch off wps and change wifi password.

But surely it would affect all devices ? The pc works fine,it's just the 2 androids

Have you tried loading the desktop versions of the websites by forcing it in the browser?

As they work on the desktop but not the mobiles, wondering if it's a problem with mobile sites?

Also, have you tried changing DNS settings in the router itself?
