Long time since I've asked for advice on here, anyways...

I'm working offshore and can only connect one of my devices (windows laptop and iphone) to the wifi at a time.
This wifi requires you to login with a username and password once connected.

Is it possible to get any device (E.g. wifi repeater) to connect to the wifi, login with your details and broadcast a wifi signal for you to connect to multiple devices?

Cheers
ReVz (Not used that in a while :P)

The functionality isn't limited to Windows 10. Try Googling something like 'windows 7 wireless repeater'.

You'll presumably need to add a second wireless adapter to the laptop to handle the hotspot side of things.

Ok will do. I've a wireless adaptor built into laptop so getting a usb wifi adapter could work as the hotspot?

The laptop's existing wireless will connect as it does now. The additional wireless will work as the hotspot.

There's no guarantee that this will work at all, but for the cost of a USB Wi-Fi adapter it's worth a try.

After bremen1874 advising its not only limited to windows 10 i found a program called Virtual Router Manager. This program basically shares your wireless internet connection and broadcasts a virtual one without needing a new adaptor.

Once the program was installed i had to remove an identity tag from the config file as i was getting a error saying the virtual router service wasn't running when it was.
Once that fixed that i was unable to get a IP address automatically so setup a static one to my device, restarted both application and wifi on device... wala job done.

Thanks for your help everyone.
