I heard a man on the bus in Birmingham got his laptop stolen. Wouldn't it be good if someone could secretly program software that connects to a nearby WIFI connection and find the location?

What is this world coming to - a man cannot walk into the public transport in a run down part of UK with a propa laptop and just stand there all flashy and all "yo, check out my bling" without some gangsta footing away with it. Are the days of modern beatboxing gone? ;)

Seriously though - most call back software is pretty useless, because first thing thieves do is reinstall windows just to wipe any personal stuff. Macs are slightly different because of the overall availability of software, but still - something like this should be sold for $10-$20, not £50...

Any thief with the knowledge to do that will first obtain the personal details off the computer to commit fraud.
