Is such a beast available? I appreciate that competitors links are allowed, but some one saying 'yes' will be good enough :)

Also, does it make that much difference to the screen image?

I know it's only component as standard, but I've only got 2 scarts on my TV, one for the sky, and I have to swap the other between the Wii and my DVD player, so I'm trying to use the HDMI port on my TV for the Wii.

HDMI = Digital
Wii = Analogue(?)

So Im guessing no.

For a HDMI cable to work with it Nintendo would have had to include it in the design from the begining, just like the 360 didnt and later had to change their designs + components to include it aka Xbox 360 Elite

Don't you have a Component connection on your TV? (3 connectors red, green and blue)

Or alternatively buy a scart swapping box, tis a wee black thing with ~3 scart sockets, 3 buttons and a scar cable. Lets you plug multiple devices into it an switch between without having to go round the back of your tele.

the red and white oes on the end are for sound. Normal pno connection. The component connection on your tv will have the sound inputs near by. Its normal.
