It tells you what controls work with what games.

Only 2 button games will work with the remote. A gamecube pad is probably the cheapest option.

Ahh it appears we can now claim VIP Points from our Virtual Console downloads. Just checked my Nintendo VIP account thingy and it says i will soon be able to claim stars for the 3 VC games ive downloaded. Pretty cool.

nah, all the megadrive games woork withh the remote too.

And to the guy who thought nintendo releases on a monday, I believe he is thinking of America where all games come out on a monday where as we have a gerneal rule of a friday here. I think we have it better, ready for the weeekend.

I bought gunstars at 1am last night.
 
No it means we will get nintendo stars from our VC purchases. Nintendo have also announced there will be some means as to convert VIP stars to Wii points very very soon.

Should be good to use it, i have over 7000 collected over the years, and theres never nout good to 'spend' them on. :p

There hasnt been anything that has taken my fancy, just always accumulated them and it seems to have paid off rather than wasting them on screensavers etc can actually buy games etc with them in the near future.
 
why cant i buy wii points over the shopping channel.


I get an error saying i havent entered my address in correctly, but i never had the option to enter an address?
 
Not got a Wii as yet, but I'm looking forward to:

Sonic, Golden Axe and R-Type - can't remember ever playing the last one but I really enjoy 2d scrolling space shooters :)

Anyone know if we'll also be able to download games that are currently listed as only available for Japan of elsewhere? I'd really like to play R-Type 3 (Japan) amd Gradius (also Japan) (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Virtual_Console_titles).
