There's battery level LEDs on the controller. And if it dies, you put new batteries in and carry on playing.

Like the 360.. the game gets paused and it asks you for new batteries.. simple no?

I know more people interested in the WII than the other two consoles. And a few of them were die hard Sony fanboys.

Theres a few rumors that the remote will have a mic, hope its true,
imagine wii connect 24 running you could have voip on all the time
and use the remote as a voip phone.
