Hey folks;

I guess the component part is out for now, as I don't have the sockets available on my TV;

I currently have an LG 26" TV with 1 HDMI socket, 2 Scarts and 1 Component and 1 Composite I think its called?

Anyways;

Sky+ Box - Scart socket
DVD Player/Recorder - HDMI socket
XBOX360 Elite - Component
Wii - The red yellow and white socket (Composite)

Until I get a newer TV, does the picture on the Wii make a difference if I plug the 3 wires into a scart connector (the one in the box?)

Or is plugging the 3 wires in individually, essentially the same thing?

Exactly the same thing - it's still the composite video signal you are connecting to the telly. It makes no difference if it goes via the SCART block or the individual composite video input - it's still the same signal!

To get a better picture quality, go for RGB Scart lead, or Component.

Cheers mate, it's all elimentary now, i've just bought a 26" Samsung, it has 3 x HDMI sockets so it will free up the component for the Wii :)

Hopefully i'll get a fair bit back for my LG 26" TV when selling.
