Some of the things you can and can't do are a surprise.

For example, you CAN NOT download a VC game onto SD and take it to your friends.

You CAN NOT use the "Wii Classic Controller" to play GC games. You MUST have a GC Controller!

Each games DOES come with a digital instruction manual.

Hmmm.

you can't use the classic controller  strange that

Presumably because it doesn't have the controls needed for the GC games?
It doesn't say anything about not using it for VC games.

That should help.

I got a Wavebird second hand from Gamestation the other week, huzzah. Been meaning to get at least one more, to allow for some multiplayer fun (housemate sold all of my pads along with his GC last year without realising it).

What's wrong with the classic pad for Gamecube games then, other than it's ugly unshapefulness? Missing the oh-so-important Z trigger?

I am waiting on hearing if the Freeloader disk will work with the GC element of the Wii. Hope so as I quite a few NTSC games now, but who knows.

Can't remember where I read it, but this was raised a few months ago and the answer was a no.

Bugger. Still, at least I ended up buying another Cube from MM as I was just buying up some games I missed but unfortunately some are so difficult to get for a reasonable price on PAL format - Good and Evil, Tales of Symphonia (I trawled all of Bath and Bristols 2nd hand GC games only to spot 10 copies in Trowbridge Gamestation - Bah!)

seems abit odd that the classic controller doesnt work with gamecube games.

Not really it doesn't look like it has enough buttons compared to the GC controller.

Not a bad thing though as GC accessories are quite cheap now anyway and the GC controller was always nice.
