Posting from my wii, having fun with it! :) You can download it now from the shop. Taken me 10 mins to write this lol.
 
its free i belive to middle of next year.. then it will cost you all of 500 wii points lol

so is it any good mate? and nice touches?

Its the trial/beta at the moment, and it is free! The full version will be free from march to end of june. Then only 500 points after the free period. Getting used to it now! Streaming works a treat.

Its great browsing speed is lightening fast. Got all the normal browsing essentials etc. Only problem at the moment is the virtual keyboard has predictive text, and it's damn annoying! ;p

The way i read it the full version will be free if you download it between March and June, but cost to get for the first time after that (assuming it's the same as other wii shop stuff, and you don't have to pay to redownload to the wii that was used to buy it previously).

I just gave it a go and it's not much harder to use than some keyboards (it was actually faster than my brother in law's zboard thanks to the predictive dictionary).
 
god it looks awful on my tv. it's incredibly blurry! ah well, maybe it'll get better!
 
Funny how hard Sony trying to make their console an all in one machine, little Wii is doing it without breaking a sweat. I can't wait to get mine. :D
 
Some parts I like but generally awkward to use. Too blurry when zoomed out and too overscanny when zoomed in.us Quite like the predictive text. I didn't think the lack of HD was a problem but the browser really shows it up.

Sorry if this makes no sense but it's hard to remember what you've written it takes so long.

What is long.us apart from being a completely useless dictionary entry?
 
Im liking it so far. predictive Text is very nice and you can zoom in on pages. I'm posting on it now and it looks smooth as through component
 
I have my Wii running with an RGB cable, and the text blur isn't nearly as bad.

I have to say, I'm very impressed. Yes, it takes a while to input text, but the predictive function speeds it up significantly. It's very, very fast and has been compatible with all the websites I've thrown at it, including Youtube and some other flash heavy locations.

Haven't checked Google video, but YouTube worked impeccably for me.

EDIT: Tried Google Vid and it managed to crash my Wii. Oh well, I suppose it is a beta version of Opera after all.

I Tried watching some thirty min videos but the page kept refreshing half way through and i cant fast forward. Anyway around this?
