I did read them but I have no idea how you came to that conclusion.
I'll make this simple 'cos I really CBA to go into one of these mundane argumentative discussions that seem to pop up time after time again when people express their personal opinion rather than the flip-side of the coin where some people swear they know everything.
I, as well as many others who I know on this forum (here's the link
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17671835 ) are coming in at about the same time and the majority of people completing it are reporting 40 hours.
The OTHER thing the majority of those people say is that they need to go back and finish it some more. Things missing, quests avoiding, hearts not collected, etc, etc.
Here's a few more links from a simple "how long does it take to complete Zelda TP"

Average is coming in at 40-50 hours for the MAIN game. Now that's not ME saying that (hell, I said 50), it's a majority of people from around the world who are 'the average gamer'.
I've got a Wii. I have a monitor and a TV (21"). I also have a projector and the Wii has been with me from friends houses to work, on both cheap Matsui 21" TV's, to top of the range Sony Bravia's and £3500+ HD projectors at work. The difference, in my mind (and others) between component and SCART is NOT that different. The colours are vibrant, they appear more vivid on component, but difference in quality of the graphics themselves isn't that noticable.

YES there's a difference, and I never said there wasn't, but I REALLY do not think that the difference is soooooooooo noticable that I think "OMG the component roxs!!"
This (
http://www.lawrenceingraham.com/wii/wii5.html ) in my mind is proof that the component is better, but absolutely nothing when it comes to comparing a Xbox360 or PS3 on standard TV and component/VGA settings.
