Will 3000mhz be a big step-up from 2133mhz?

Hey guys,

I have just come from inside my BIOS to see that my XMP was "disabled" and changed it to "profile 1" and my RAM speed has increased to 3000mhz from 2133mhz..

Will this really make a big difference in the long run or is it overrated faster clock speeds on RAM?

A few more frames per second depending on the game but some games a lot more

Just played a game of BF1 and OMG, i think i must have averaged around 10-20 fps more without changing much more..
